We made it!
About 27 degrees and a slight wind made it easy for riders as they dropped altitude form the ranges into Townsville.
Some great sights as we descended with mountains towering over an otherwise flat landscape.
We carefully weaved our way around the traffic as we eventually arrived at The Strand where we were greeted by our support crew and onlookers.
A debroefing of the last 8 days took place after we had a magnificent roast for tea.
Northreach Baptist Church hosting us and making us feel very welcome.
There will be lots of stories to share as we spend a day recovering before the drive home.
